Thanks for starting my Drone editing journey man :)

Also, interesting points about editing to the music and not cutting to the beat! It definitely looks more professional and flows better when the shot doesn't change with every single beat

Yeah its a technique I've learned over the past year that really helps elevate things! Thanks for watching!

Unfortunately I haven't had the time to make part 3, but I hope to in the future.

my dji mini 3 also does the file splitting thing, it spits all footage into 3.5gb folders, its a little annoying but not a big issue, if theres a fix that would be awesome

I have a Mini 3 Pro and it would do the same but I think the folders were much larger, for some reason the drone I was using at the time I made this video would hit whatever file limit it was very quickly. Maybe there is a slight difference in the file structure between the Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro, I'm not sure. Regardless it is kind of annoying whenever a camera does it but I think it's done for a reason, probably to protect files from corruption.

very underrated video amazing quality. where did you get the sound effects shown at the 17:30 mark?

Thank you! At the time that I made this video, I was getting my sound effects from storyblocks and freesound.

14:44 good reminder! I was watching a few of my first videos the other day, and it was kind of funny how bad they were

Yeah I cringe when I look back at some of my older videos 😖 It's good to keep things in perspective for sure!

Is there a way to make sure the clips dont habe small gaps? And is it ok to change speed in different clips to get the right or same speed and flow?
@RoccoGermani3 ай бұрын
I would check to see if snapping is turned on (magnet icon above the timeline), that will help you get clips to line up properly. Changing speed is a great way to match pacing. The only issue you may run into depending on the frame rate you shot at is frame stuttering. If the frame rate the clip is sped up to is not a multiple of the original frame rate (you can see this in the speed change menu), or if you are doing a speed ramp, then I would recommend going into the inspector tab for that clip on the timeline and change the motion interpretation to optical flow so it blends frames where there are stutters.
