Yep I felt that pain. Something told me to stop when I had 15,000 gems left but I kept going and got pretty much nothing but 3/5 Serena(which is cool). The rest were just 3 stars and bad 5 star pulls(got 2 Guzma's in one multi🤦‍♂️).

I feel that defeating Brock is faster than Skyla. Here are my auto teams. I’m open to suggested improvements. Brock: Sceptile, Groudon, Blastoise Skyla: Mewtwo, Lycanroc, Lunatone The reason for Lunatone is cuz it increases attack and special attack which causes Lycanroc to spend one less turn buffing. Unfortunately, Samurott prioritizes speed buffs so he’s not useful in auto mode.

The Rock type gear event is also going to drop 1 and 2 star gear, so they'll also be handy to turn in for the 3* ones you'll be getting. I also think, from Absol's pastebin, we'll get enough of each 3* gear type to max unlock them? Hopefully. They might come out slower, but this feels like a better method.
