Thanks for this down to earth approach.I started with RPG maker, had fun with it - made a story, was making sprites testing boss battles and started to work on character skills... then I realized: I just want to tell a story, so I decided to work on a book (story finished editing phase still need to do A lot). My idea was to make a turn based RPG, but actually i want something a bit more similar to Chrono trigger. Anyways I am not planning to learn this coding etc - as if you want to make a game you also have to think about creating sprites/music/story/scenes. To much work for 1 person. So now I focus on my book, animation of my book and art for my book haha. And when I mastered that maybe in the future (if the book actually sells) I join up with a programmer and a musician to create something awesome. Most important thing I learned with projects: don't want to much as fast as possible, have patience and let it develop over time.

learning unity was easy, but learning c# is tough even watching all the unity c# youtube series and paying for some udemy c# courses and still find myself not understanding some code i even followed the unity c# survival guide too and still find some code that never was brought up in any of these resources. If only their was a course that didn't leave out any c# techniques and patterns wouldn't have to do so much searching on the internet for individual things.

Do you primarily use a Mac for your game development? Or do you also use a Windows computer?
