DEE World won't work with spokes wheel. Try this.. Put a belt or rope thru the spokes and pull it up with force. It'll work.. But, NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS. IT'LL CRUSH UR BONES. I seriously lost two fingers.

HI if you can please help me. I have a royal enfield classic 500 2014 model. I did't ride my motorcycle for last 6 months. Now that I am trying to turn it on , it wont start. My self start is not working, I believe my battery is almost dead by now. So I tried to kick start it many times, that did't work either. Headlight turns on when I turn the Key on. I was wondering what could be the problem and what would you recommend me to do to start it.

Your first method failed for this particular Enfield because it had spoke wheels, alloy wheels(alloy wheels destroy the look of an Enfield) provide better grip to apply the wheel rotating method with top gear-2 placement...... Another method u can try if u don't get anybody's help... Ride on the seat, ignition key on, clutch pressed, move forward get some momentum by your both feet rubbing on the ground(difficult for a heavy bike though) and suddenly release and repress the clutch.

Both the techniques are same..."Dhakka Start" Just that in the former technique you are not engaging the clutch, but using brute force to get the engine running but in the latter one clutch is pressed the bike is being coasted and depressed as soon as the required momentum is achieved. Makes sense?
