That turned out a very lovely layout!! It bought back memories of my now nearly 54 year old daughter when she was that age & saw the sea for the first time only it was with her grandparents as I was busy having my third child They said she was very timid & wary of the water & they had a canoe & took her out in it with some tears at first but then she settled down & loved it all. There are some photos they took of her that I think I scrapbooked.. So I missed that adventure but then I made up for it with my three older grandkids which was probably less stressful!! 😅

I'm so glad you enjoy my videos! I've been a little absent the last couple weeks, but I have some fun videos planned for November. I use the Tim Holtz sanding block. I'm not sure if it's still available because I've had it forever, but I like it because it's flat and easy to change out the sand paper.

My gallery on my android has a remove object option that I remove parts of my photo(referring to the random person in the background to right of your family). Love this layout.

The process of choosing and printing photos is definitely the most time-consuming process for me! I have 4 grandchildren and my 2 daughters are always sending me photos to scrapbook. Neither of them scrapbook so they leave it all to me. I create albums on my Apple computer for each child for each year and work through those when I'm working on a particular scrapbook album. Exhausting!

Wow that sounds like a lot of scrapping and a lot of photos to work with. Something like digital photo books could work really well for your daughters so they could easily document their memories. That would leave you free to just pick and choose which photos you want to scrapbook most.

@@ChelseyVorosmarty oh I love scrapbooking my grandkids’ memories, and it is pure joy to see them flipping through their albums. When they come to my house, they always want to know if they can look at the current album I am working on. If it weren’t for their photos, I’m not sure if I would have enough photos to keep me busy! Ha ha ha scrapbooking is definitely my retirement hobby.

It's true that with little kids you'll always have a large selection of photos to scrap and watching them look through the pages is definitely very satisfying. I have several photos of my daughter on the floor, surrounded by open scrapbooks and pointing out everyone in the photos. So cute!

Why doesn’t deleting it from album delete it from computer?

I’m guessing this is something specific to IPhoto on Apple devices. The photo in the albums are copied from the main library. If I delete photos in the main library it does delete them from my computer and iCloud.
