Great video! I wish you talked a bit more at the beginning about the message that says you're embarking early. What exactly does that mean and how do you enter the sealed forest at the intended time?

Oh I'm sorry I did miss that spot =) The warning merely tries to clarify that the cycle will reset after this colony. So on harder seals you might wanna try to find some of those Question marks out there to rack up some bonuses if you still have time on your cycle left before you try the Seal. As a rule of thumb you can always go for the seal if you feel ready for it. If not, you should definitely scrape out the time on your cycle for more bonuses alongside of the way. Especially the question mark events often have bonuses which last for only one cycle which are specifically meant to boost your performance on that last map. Hope this helps!

Love the series! I always find it weird, though, that you don't point the resource collectors directly at the resources (to save gathering time)

I think this is highly overrated as your workers will spend a lot of their time also wandering to the hearth and to the warehouse and not only to the resource node.

Whoa, what timing! I just ended a run avoiding the Seals, trying to get more levels before tackling the Sealed Forest. I now have Trade Routes unlocked, so was wondering if I could win a run. Doing runs on Settler gives so little rewards though. I wonder if I can do Pioneer…

i started played 4 days ago, only played on pioneer, my 1st and 3rd colony i lost from impatience, but all the rest are wins. im sure you can do it

@@Mousse9 yeah losing gives rewards, so you cant really lose progress, worst case scenario you restart the cycle and you learn from mistakes

@@kostas9004 I have started my first Pioneer settlement. 8 Beavers, lol. And some randoms, 2 Harpies and 1 Lizard. Opened 2 Dangerous Glades in the 2nd Drizzle season. Both Blood Flowers, let’s hope my food stock survives and I come out stronger with the loot. Unfortunately both Glades had little in the way of really useful resources. No Small Farm or Plantation blueprints, several blueprints that use flour…Those 2 Fertile Fields are taunting me. I had to stop right after opening that 2nd Glade, it was getting late and I have work tomorrow. 😭
