START HERE ➡ kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoG7o3SJorBqm7s Step 1- shape your nails weekly Step 2- start taking care of the skin around your nails. Oil after each hand wash and Kerasal at night until the skin is more elastic and healthier. ONLY THEN proceed to Step 3. Step 3- start gently nudging the skin fold IF NEEDED (once every 2-3 days). Once the skin is sitting nicely around the nail. ONLY THEN proceed to: Step 4- cuticle removal

Your comparisons make sense when logically applied to simple nail care. One workout doesn't improve anything. One language class doesn't increase language mastery. Stretched pregnancy tummy skin shrinks over time. As you demonstrate and explain, simple, gentle, consistent nail care over time is the only way to better hands and nails. It takes patience and practice, but is so worth it. It's also far less expensive than one might realize. Another essential factor to consider is how much better nails and skin feel. I live in a cold, dry climate and used to have cracked nail folds, hangnails galore, and little cuts that were extremely painful. Since applying your gentle nail care steps, my hands look and feel so much better. Thanks a million!

I thought I was allergic to cuticle oil as it always dried out my skin instead of helping it. Since using your method of just one drop it doesn’t seem to be peeling like before. Thank you so much for

Please elaborate about the use of OPI Repair Mode. Every website says 2 times a day for 6 days, but that is not nearly enough time to recondition horrible nails! There is also a lot of product for 6 days of use. I am going to follow your advice about using oil and not wearing polish, so I need to know if I can use Repair Mode daily then follow up 10 minutes later and throughout the day with oil. Thank you so much!

Hope it's okay to ask a question on this video. Since your base and top coat should be the same brand, does your polish also need to be the same brand? As far as an entire brand what would you recommend as a reliable product that is also economical? I live in the US. Also, I LOVE all of your analogies in your explanations. I even turn your videos on while I'm getting ready for work. I find them soothing for some reason. I used your links and got Blue Cross and Serasal (sp) and I got my Cuccio in the mail yesterday. So very happy I found you! 💜

Thank you for your kind words :) When it comes to gel polish yes, full system is very important because it comes down to the lamp that needs to be used to cure it. Not all lamps have the same nanometer range and intensity. Improper cure can lead to life long and sometimes serious allergies When it comes to regular polish it doesn’t matter as much. All air will dry it :) But it might not work as well as if you used it as a full system. Dazzle Dry is a bit of exception though. The polish won’t apply well over different base coat and you won’t have the 5 min dry unless you use a full system

I only use regular polish as I would prefer not to use lamps. I've been trying to decide amongst OPI, Essie, or a few others I can't recall at the moment. I usually use less expensive polishes and I notice that they will seem to be completely dry and then when I wake up in the morning a couple of them will be smudged. Could that be because of the caliber of the polish or am I maybe using too many coats?

Hello! Thank you. Gentle gentle!!! Thank you for the reminder. I am way too rough! Anna, what polish did you have on in this video. Nail glowing Dior or apricot base coat? It’s so pretty and has a light milky look.

Ok thank you, bummer. Anything similar, with the clear yet milky look? I have watched many videos of yours but not sure which one to try. I don’t do well with anything that has hardeners in it. Like the apricot Dior base coat.

i discovered your channel recently and will be following your advice as best as i can in the new year to hopefully be able to achieve better nails :) i have short nail beds (the pink part?) from aggressively cleaning debris under my nails with sharp tools since i was a kid, so i learned that apparently my hyponychium needs to heal and grow. how do you recommend safely cleaning under nails during this process? if a nail brush, do you have a specific type or brand you recommend? thank you for all the great information you share 🙇

The best course of action would be removing the cause of the micro trauma. Because this is not really only a cosmetic problem I suggest consulting podiatrist

Hello, I've been trying to push my cuticles and remove the excess skin, but it seems that my proximal nail fold is too large and separated from the nail every time and flips upwards. Can you see what I'm doing wrong? Or what would be your advice? Thanks

I just discovered your channel while trying to solve an issue and it’s been super enlightening. I’m just not sure what course of action to take and I was wondering if you have any advice or any videos that could help. I don’t do my nails but they’ve always been long and strong. However, I had a low break that couldn’t be cut and and was told to go to salon to “cover it up” until it grew a bit and could be cut. It was my first time and I think the salon did a dip sort of thing on my nail. It really hurt to be honest. However, the real issue is when they removed the product, layers of my nail peeled off so it’s a bunch of uneven horizontal nail layers. It’s hard to explain but it gives off the appearance of ridges all over the entire nail and my nail seemed thinner or weaker? Is there any way to fix this (warm oil soaks as you’ve recommended in this other video i saw?) or is the damage too deep?

Hi quick question when you push back the nail fold does this eventually gives you a longer nail bed?
@TheSalonLife
@TheSalonLife 2 ай бұрын
If the skin is stretched then yes, the nail might look longer. If that skin is not stretched then don’t push it and pushing it attempting to extend the nail bed might damage the matrix (the root) underneath
