Hi@@salmajohn2391 , I just watched all the videos available online. Mostly here at E2 Language with Jay. Unfortunately I don't have a practice partner before when I'm preparing for the exam. I don't have someone who's expert to check my writings, but I have God and Mama Mary along the way, I prayed hard and surrendered everything to God and ask the Blessed Mother to pray for me also. I'm pretty sure that it helped me a lot. God Bless You on your exam and Congratulations in advance. You can do it!

Hi Jay, that is a very helpful video. I'd like to clarify 1 thing. For the 2nd role play where it was given that the patient was known to the doctor. You greeted the parent by the name "John" wherein no name was mentioned in the role play card. Should I ask or at least validate the parent's name first?

You can ask the “patient” in the prep time what his or her name is or what he or she wants to be called.

In the 2nd case, while talking with the parent you mentioned good to see you again. I mean is it fine to say that? Because people visit hospital for illness so I am quite confused about that statement .Kindly clarify my doubts and your videos are helpful.

I am sorry but I fail to understand why is OET testing our communication skills as a doctor with a patient when these skills have already been tested in the exams of our speciality that we have to given to get GMC in the uk. When it comes to doctors there are other communication also involved like doctor doctor, senior doctor junior doctor etc, then why OET testing the same again. For a super specialist giving OET it can become difficult to do the role play of a GP. This is ridiculous
