why not jsut make it simple and use a button instead of a knob, like in cars. Do you still need to use the start switch on the handlebar?

You still need to use the start button. Also you can use the knob for the steering lock.

Stupidity. If I carry two keys with me, I can lose both. I have the code stored secretly in my phone and even in my email. Even if I forget it, I can read it anywhere on the Internet.
