I lost 20 pounds during last year's Bikini Series just by giving up fried food! Now I only occasionally have fried food and I've kept the weight off! That was a total game changer for me!

Water made allllll the difference for me. My body processed everything I ate better, I had more energy and the weight just seemed to fall off. Moral of the story, I was definitely not drinking enough water and my body let me know how happy it was with that change.

Very interested in the Nutrition Plan but not a big fan of veggies, I’m working on that, and was not sure if jumping right in is best or if I should start by incorporating more veggies into my diet first? Thanks for any help you can give!
@ruthmerriman67946 жыл бұрын
oxsweetdollface Hey! I was the exact same a couple of years ago! I just start incorporating them into my diet slowly, and constantly trying different ones to see which I preferred. My absolutely favourite way to have any kind of veg is to roast it. It brings out the flavour so much better than just heating in the microwave or boiling it etc. Also what I do is once I’ve cut all my veg up, mix up some chipotle paste or harissa paste with a bit of extra virgin olive oil, and coat the veggies then put them in the oven. If you like food on the spicier side, you can put more harissa or chipotle in, if not you have just put a touch in to give it a bit of flavour. Or coat it in paprika. Experience with spices is the easiest way I think to get to like veg. Hope this helps

Does anyone else have IBS and on the nutrition plan? Many of the veggies in the plan make my stomach hurt. Anyone have tips?
@risarood50056 жыл бұрын
Lizet Gonzalez I have issues with a lot of veggies and the protein powder. I avoid all the veggies that I know are triggers and try to keep my protein powder consumption to a minimum. I can’t eat onions at all and love spicy flavor but, I’m allergic to cayenne pepper and actually can’t even use regular black pepper. Try to avoid what you know and adjust as you go, good luck!!
@Capchip6196 жыл бұрын
Risa Roo d thank you so much! I know raw carrots and beets are one of my trigger foods, lol. Their beet salad was one of my favs
@gorgeous28456 жыл бұрын
I will second everything Risa said, I have all the same issues. The best thing I ever did for my IBS is follow the fodmap diet, it explains the proper portion of veg/fruits your body can tolerate. For example, I didn't eat brussel sprouts or broccoli, plus many others for 8 years, now I know my body can handle 1/3 cup of it at a time without causing a flare up :) Goodluck ladies!

Shahlena Shah thank you! I’ll look into the foodmap diet :)

Will the nutrition plan work for someone who's trying to gain weight? I know its about building muscle but im scared of losing weight if i change my diet. Ive struggled so much with being underweight, even though i eat everything and 4-5x, because of my fast metabolism.
@stephaniesamuel95696 жыл бұрын
REMINISCEtheMEMORIES yes I think they have options for that and ways to add healthy calories

Another awesome chat! Thank you for all the honesty surrounding food. I have to eat chocolate every day too! I was wondering if there is a way to purchase just the nutrition plan book or the digital meal plans. I can't afford the entire program but would love access to the meal plans and recipes. Are there options for these? I've heard rave reviews about the 5 day and 7 day slim downs, and it is so hard to find programs that offer these quicker type healthy detoxes. Most are 21 days or longer, and I really resonated with you when you said that you didn't need to lose weight, but you wanted to make your muscles "pop" more. That's where I'm at, and I was looking for recipes and guides on how to do this. Your guides and book sound like an awesome way to get back on track after a holiday weekend too. Please let me know. Thank you so much!

Will there ever be a Fodmaps version of the nutrition plan? I know there is vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/ etc. I know I could get the plan and then swap out things/figure out what works, but I feel that would defeat the purpose of not having to think about what I am going to eat, and there would be a lot of recipes I wouldn't be able to use.

I have the hardest time maintaining the nutrition plan in the afternoon before dinner! Always try to keep hummus around or peanut butter but sometimes those tortilla chips with a little sea salt start calling my name.....

Please make the nutrition book in pescatarian,
@lolita11th6 жыл бұрын
Caryn McGrenra I do believe they have it in pescatarian. When you order the book it gives you options to choose that version
@carynmcgrenra59676 жыл бұрын
They definitely don't. The regular plan they do, but with the book you can only pick from regular, vegetarian or vegan.
