My English level is A1. I rarely listen to the end of a speech in English because it is difficult to understand the words. But I was pleased to listen to you. It was the first time I tried so hard to understand the speech of an English-speaking person. And how strange, but I understood the essence and it gave me the motivation to study! Thank you!

After a shoulder trauma I have gained some belly because I could not train. 4 months of pain. I always train at home. But after recovery I found that I don't want to go back in shape, I used to just lay down and eat snacks. Well, I got a big stick for myself. A month ago I went to the gym, bought a 6 months unlimited membership and paid for individual trainer. After that, no wonder I didn't even had a thought to pass a single training day. I mean, sometimes burning bridges after yourself works wonders. When there is no way to step back, you go forward.

Hello teacher 😊 I've been studying on passive and active gerunds recently. I'd like to ask you something if it is possible. Can I use these structures with past tense ? To give an example, can I say ' I was proud of having completed my assignment. ' Or ' Having eaten this traditional dish was amazing. ' Are these sentences correct ? If you answer my question, I would be very happy . Thanks in advance. Have a nice day .

to be honest, i find the citing of Jordan Peterson's work somewhat inappropriate. i understand if you're not aware so in case: Peterson often uses his degree to claim knowledge on subjects he's uneducated on, notably biology, endocrinology, and sociology. what he does with that is make hateful and blatantly incorrect claims that are sexist, victim-blaming, homophobic, transphobic, and racist. some examples include his claim that if a woman is wearing makeup in the workplace, it's her fault if she gets harassed, as well as his intrusive obsession over one Elliot Page, who he has gone into extended detail about in regards to his medical and personal history, making very sexually inappropriate remarks, all the while deadnaming and misgendering him. i highly encourage you look further into this, and i really hope you take this into consideration, because it makes me somewhat sad seeing someone i respect give that man credit.

WTF....how is he responsible for your feelings 😅😅😅😅😅... get a friend
@sdrx903 Жыл бұрын
@@PhilseinSchrank there are no feelings here - his research and claims are known to be founded in little real science, and most (including this one) fail upon peer review, a process he - i'm sure coincidentally - condemns. of course, i do have feelings in regard to Peterson, but all i'm doing now is citing some instances in which he is antisocial and definitionally hateful, and uses his academic prowess to spread his hate.
@PhilseinSchrank Жыл бұрын
@@sdrx903 You consider it as hate which proofs my point. If a woman feels herself as a man and takes medicine to transition hormons, it doesn't change the fact that she's biologically speaking still a woman. That's a fact
