The most significant insight I gained is the concept of "Reframing Your Perspective." Throughout my journey, I have taken numerous small but positive steps that I now understand will serve as ongoing sources of motivation. I greatly appreciate your observation and guidance, Sean.

Speaking as a music teacher, you don't really want the motivation. You want the habit. Recording videos isn't something I'm emotionally excited about. It's the daily and weekly routine programmed in me that keeps me going.

What’s fun is when I wake up and my subscribers sent me messages telling me they love my content. Or asking me questions because they want to learn or need help. I love it when I celebrate 1 extra subscriber and everyone joins in. And it’s humbling to see the numbers go up. When the numbers go down i look at my history and if I’m still above the same month last year it means I’m still growing. There are days and months where all numbers are down that’s when I learn the most and find out what changes could bring more views when the flow swings back up? Make the changes and watch the numbers go higher. I’m only at 451 subs after nearly 2 years of owning a channel. I’m tiny. But I’m having fun and I’m finding value. You can too! Let this video motivate you if this comment doesn’t. 👍

I heard another content creator talk about one type of content she makes and it's "selfish videos". She makes them not because they will do well and it's what the algorithm will push out but because she just wants to and it makes her happy. I think something as simple as this could really help with getting back to your why and your creativity.

Thank you man. I've had really decent growth in the last 7 months. I have started leveling off and I was still making content but was in a feeling of not doing good enough because I haven't been seeing the same growth. Within 7 months I had over 3K subs and 1 million views and the last few weeks things have leveled off and I dont feel like I'm getting what I could be. It's definitely difficult to deal with on top of a full time job, kids, and fiance. Thanks for what you do

The reality is that growing in KZbin is really hard. Been three plus years in KZbin and breaking 12K was painful and time consuming. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Think Media as small as I am , every single day I receive messages from women living with HIV who are pregnant and wonder what to do, those who want to become pregnant, those with babies and wonder if they should breastfeed or bottle feed... I found my voice... All this motherhood journey as a woman living with HIV is my area of expertise... I live these experiences on a daily basis. I am growing very slowly because I am not putting in my whole self. Pre SCHOOL is starting in August... ❤❤❤❤ With limited childcare I am doing my best... And in August... I will rock . By Christmas I will be monetized. KZbin opened me to many opportunities, many connections, I mean I am thankful I punched fear in the face and started.

I haven't gone live yet. I followed so many channels advice of create the thumbnail first and I am having a hard time of it. I have around 100 ideas, 80% or more have bullet points to create the script, about 80% of those are fully fleshed out. I wasn't making the videos because I was following the "rules". I actually sat down when I couldn't sleep and recorded my first video (it will never see the light of day). Since then, I have filmed over a dozen videos.....still no thumbnails.

Last year, I had a video go viral for me. Unfortunately, that video was not representative of my typical content. So, while my channel went from 4000 to 12000 subs in 28 days, it's damaged the channel severely. Lots of subs, no clicks. So with a plummeting click through rate, and subs leaving every time I uploaded, the algorithm has identified me as a failing channel, and I'm seeing a 50% reduction in revenue compared to this time last year, before the viral video. Over the last couple of months I've finally started seeing a net gain in subscribers at last, but it could still take years for the click through rate to recover. Most of these tips consist of the content creator being wrong about there being no growth. I'd like to see one about what the title promises. What to do when the really ISN'T any growth.
