You don't want to get too caught up in the minutia. That's why I used a weekly chart while designing the TFM 10% System. Now, with that said, yes, trends will change on the hourly before they change on the daily (and so forth). I have a client who pays special attention to things like Bowties on the hourlies. He's out early when the market tanks, but he also has to deal with a lot of whipsaw when it does not.
