Guys don't attach the internet printed copy of baggage tag.... they will just remove it and add their own baggage tag.... so just carry it with you... trust me i followed the same as this guy is suggesting in the video... but it was of no use

I traveled from Varanasi to Hyderabad today morning (INDIGO:6E 2815 seat 30E and 6E 2325 seat 4D). I had a rucksack/backpack without lock as my check-in luggage. I didn't keep anything important/expensive knowing the situation. At Hyderabad baggage arrived after 40mins and overtly it was normal. At home I found things missing from the bag. Airline told me if you don't register a complaint at the airport, nothing can be done. My question is...am I supposed to unpack and check my bag at the conveyor belt? Aren't you responsible and accountable for my baggage once I hand it over to you?

This was a really good instructional video. However, I am surprised of the ignorance of all the travelers and the smartness of the airline companies. They are expecting passengers now to even do this job for them. When you are going to check in your luggage aren’t you going to handover your check in luggage at the counter? Will the luggage automatically fly and get into the flight? Isn’t there any contact with the baggage? If you do not know how to use technology and do not have the resources to print and stick the tag on your luggage. If you are going to do that on the counter at the airport, you are going to be charged an additional 200. More money in their pocket isn’t it? How convenient is that?

@@lonewolf9784 yes, according to the new guidelines by the airlines. You will have to print and stick those tags on your luggage by yourself. How? As instructed in this video and if you don’t have access to a printer, God help you! On a serious note, my wife is flying today and will check in process was simple. We did do the online check-in, took printouts of the boarding pass and the tags. Tried to stick the tags on the luggage but it did not work. The counter at the airport she told them about the challenge and they helped her out and printed the baggage tags and boarding pass again and handed it to her. So, I saved INR 200 but spent 350 on Pringles 🤣

@@lonewolf9784 that’s a lot of luggage. Passengers are allowed to carry 15 KG‘s in baggage. If you have two passengers then each passenger is allowed to carry 15kg and if you have been provided one baggage tag then you need to stick the same on all the bags that are going for check in. Yes you can. But you cannot take it in cabin as for cabin baggage size and weight is fixed of 7kg.

Hello Aashi. This is no more required as everything has come to normal. If you have a checkin baggage, then go to counter and they will help you with the baggage tag.
