Shes the real deal. Ive been at this for years and NO ONE, not one channel on YT ever explains why you expand the track box and most wont even bother, and it never turns out quite like you want it.. its an absolute must. Shes really good. Ive been a Motion Graphics Designer for 11 years now, and I'm still always on the look out for better or different means of accomplishing many of the same things. Thanks a lot, but I used motion track alright as so and unfortunately the issue is my text still looks like possessed and scaling and changing position, making my work look like it being made by an armature, I was hopping to see if there's more to it, or is there a trick to make your text, no matter the background, still stick to whatever perspective you attach it to it.

If you're a little bit creative with it, for sure! Look up one of those "beats by dre tracking" tutorials and then you just need to create keyframes for the scale so you'll create a zoom effect :)

Lila - just wondering why you don't just turn AF off? You're not moving significantly back and forth... wouldn't have thought you'd need AF. :-) Most people don't care about it shifting though so I wouldn't worry too much about it; you are always your own worst critic. The one I can never go without adding text to is errors in my English, I always have to add a subtitle that says "I meant _____." even though no one else cares. P.S. Thank you so much for holding my hand through After Effects. I'll give it a go soon, got a big video coming up about 1000 day Duolingo streak that will need some effects haha.

I always use AF because I do move forward and backward quite a bit. But I think there's a defect in my lens (apparenty it got a big hit) but right now I don't have the time to send it for repair because of LA. hi, thanks for the tutorial! just had one question, do i have to analyze forward for every frame i want the tracker to actually move? basically i was analyzing for the first few frames(clicking the play button in the tracker tab) and i thought maybe it would speed up the process if i just applied it. but it seems that after applying it, it only tracks the portion that you actually analyzed, and then the text will just stop moving once it reaches frames that you didn't analyze using the tracker tab

True. You have to run the auto tracker for the entire clip if you want it to be tracked. After effects needs to analyse every frame. So depending on the clip it will take a while for it all to be analysed, but then you don't have to go and adjust every frame manually.

@@CoconutPete I prefer using the Transform effect, I set the shutter angle to 360 to create motion blur. I made a vid about how to track objects manually in premiere pro, but it's not as quick as after effects - highly recommend using after effects for this stuff
