The “copying transform” part is what made me facepalm, not realizing I could do that. Before, I would edit the “+” object with what I wanted but your way is. SOOOO HELPFUL. Thank you

The same thing happens to me all the time, whenever I watch a tutorial about something I'll see somebody do something and say "AHHHHHHHHH what!!!! I didn't think of it that way"
@DogTog2 жыл бұрын
I did the copy/paste exactly the way it was done in this video (with the vrooom), and it did NOT work. The transform object itself copied, but the motion keyframes did not copy :( Maybe Premiere CC 2022 has a new bug?

I was looking at a logo that had some hand-held movement added to it and I need to add something to it when I remembered "Hey, Javier had that tutorial last week, I should go back and watch that one! Gee I hope it's not just a 'go to After Effects' solution..." and MAN did you deliver the goods! I did not know about Kamil's extension but it was the biggest no-brainer purchase I've ever made. This kind of functionality is what I have been missing in Premiere Pro. Thanks again, Javier!

Edit: Ok I Re-edited this comment as it originally was asking for your helping regarding the keyframing, but because you were showing everything to the minute detail, I realised you techincally already demonstrated how to do what I trying to figure out. Great video mate, this has really helped build my confidence with this part of the editing process as I use tracking a lot and I'm so use to tracking manually that this is simply a godsend. You got a sub my man. Amazing stuff
@JavierMercedes3 жыл бұрын
Sure Dave! It’s just a matter of hitting the right button when you reverse, instead of hitting the track backwards button (that re-analyzes your motion) you would want to hit the play backwards button, much like the JKL buttons or manually move the playhead back frame by frame

I'll admit, I'm definitely a 'taker' more than a 'giver' when it comes to tutorials/reviews, but man on man, Javier, this was such a well-done, helpful tutorial, that I just had to comment. I was an Avid user my whole life and they had an amazing, 4-point tracking option over a decade ago that Premiere still doesn't offer. It's always driven me crazy and every time I tried to find any tutorials about it, I was left unsatisfied. Your succinct, knowledgeable explanation was exactly what I needed and I'll be digging into your other videos (when my schedule allows, of course:)
