What a shiny, athletic, beauty Reggie is! Really appreciate his owner for adopting him and choosing to get help with his OTT behaviour.

I absolutely love these videos! The instructions are clear, concise, and thoroughly explained, inspiring me to head out and train with my dog time and time again. They give me the confidence that he and I are building something great together. I just finished a training session using these techniques, what a difference in the dog after just one sessions I could not be happier. :)

Thank you for giving some of this info for free Already spent a fortune And you just can't keep doing it Also a bit suspicious of trainers who are just into the hard sell rather than giving some help Much appreciated

Beautiful focus on the owner and engagement. I have a doberman 15 months old. For weeks now i do this in my backyard. Once on the street i can use any food i want, use any leash i want, toys whatever. He is just NOT interested. Wait until he see's a cat.... I am a dogcoach, go figure. Can't even focus my dog on me. 😢

glad to see he is intact, do you find that neutering helps at all in such situations? My observation is that my 2 year old male is one of the healthiest dogs I have had. I have not neutered him yet.

I don’t see how any of this stops reactivity. I taught all this to my dog. It didn’t stop reactivity. It’s taken me a long time but I now see understanding in her eyes to not react just because a dog is barking at her. I think it will be quicker with another dog now I know what I’m doing - all positive reinforcement

HAHA!!! So, what's the purpose of the training the dog to turn off the hitting the end of the lead (leash) and look at dad? What is this dogs underlying issue?

Hey is there a link for that style of slip lead? I am so over the rope style that you can't attach a regular leash. Great job!

It’s called a grot collar if your looking online

Jacob, does it matter if the grot collar goes to the side of the neck? Mine does it on my rottie and I stop to correct it but can it stay to the side

So the dog is working for the food and not for you and with you?

Please show a dog who gets so worked up he won't take treats outside.
@csc86978 күн бұрын
Yes, my dog could care less about treats. She liked praise. Plus, alot of dogs if you don't have treats then they don't mind.

This dog is intense , mouth is closed eyes are wide open ( when dog is relaxed mouth is open, tongue is out ) ,even after training in the end of video he's not relaxed , ye he walks on a leash, ye you giving him snacks , he's looking at you , looks like everything ok , but it's not , you can't trust him fully you can't put him out of the leash ,100% he will overreact to every single unexpected situation , you have to accept that it's a pitbull temperament , some of them are like that , you can control them but yiu can't predict what he gonna do , 15 years with amstaffs know what I'm talking about
