I just got some doorhangers and already got a good job from it. Prob only put out 25 or so. My daughter helps me out when she isn't in school and I have her put them out once she is done cleaning the screens or whatever I have her doing.

Good stuff! Door hangers are good enough (no need to bug people), and your first 5 jobs are probably friends and family, then after that you start paying for Google/Facebook ads etc...

Great video man. This is super important and i'm behind this idea of not door knocking 100%. There's several reasons like you mentioned but what does it for me is just putting myself in the homeowners shoes. I'd get so annoyed if someone knocked on my door and gave me some script that "we're cleaning the Johnson's windows on your street...". Yikes. My head would start smoking like a cartoon character. Thanks for sharing this

I just began today...1st door, 1st sale. $199 was the agreement, but after she saw the work, she ended up paying $250. 🙂 I think it goes back to mindset. I think you don't like door to door being done to you personally so I can see where that incongruence would make it harder for sure. 💯 Opportunity does...knock. 😉

Is using a squeegee always gonna be better than using a water fed pole in terms on how clean the window looks?

When doing maintenance cleans, and using the water fed correctly, you see no difference, if anything, the waterfed looks more shiny! I use waterfed anytime I can!

Door knocking is the worst thing to do. I personally hate being door knocked. But commercial is a good way.

You’re so negative. Nothing wrong with asking people if they want window washing. Kindness goes a long way and a lot of people love helping local businesses. Especially if you’re already on a job. There’s no reason to have empty days. Get a job through hangers, online, or even crazier from knocking on a door, and then knock doors while you or your worker is on the job. Do it all. This is very limiting advice. The bottom line is the bottom line.
