So I did the test. After 10 minutes I got bored and decided to push the hair 1cm down the jar. It started sinking, took about 1 minute to reach the bottom. Imagine my surprise when I came back 5 minutes later to find it floating on top again XD. Guess I'm low porosity.

Washed and conditioned my hair.... pulled a strand... As soon as my hair hit the water, curled up HARD HARD ... it was pretty straight until it hit the water. I’m literally looking at it right now and just watching my hair continue to curl... ok..... so now it’s just a ball. ImCJay When you do a braidout/twist out wear a satin bonnet to sleep at night to maintain the curls. In the morning, use a tiny amount of leave in, rub it through, then pick the roots & fluff but don’t mess up curls.

Wasn't this test proven to be a hoax? because the density of your hair can affect the weight. Also, whenever i tried this, my hair strand would ALSO float, but my hair absorbs water instantly when i run it under the shower head. What i have noticed, is that for low porosity people, their hair takes time to get wet and even if they run their head under the shower, they get water beads. For me it's different, but for some reason this test shows im low porosity, like what?

It should take about 1 hour if you go section by section. It’s best to trim hair when it’s blown out or straightened to get an even trim💯 I hope that helps👍🏾
