Thanks for your videos you and Juwan are really helping me with my son’s type IV hair. Wondering if you have and advice for biracial hair that is very close to Caucasian hair but not quite. My husband has type 2 and so does my daughter. Her hair is long and beautiful but a bit of a puzzle when it comes to products. She's 9 and we’re still trying to find the best thing. She seems to have a typical African American hair density and porosity but Caucasian curl pattern. So none of the products for ”white” or ”black ”hair are quite right. Even products for ”mixed” hair are usually too heavy. Her hair is straight and hangs long when dry but is the type of hair where if you do not brush it twice a day and braid it at night it becomes literally matted to the point where you almost need scissors after one night. Very grateful for the LOC method as this seems to work the best so far. I use a slight amount of shea butter after wet followed by a little light oil. I wash every 2-3 days. However, I still have times where we get it too greasy or in a tangled near matted frizz.

I tried to do twists just unrolls lol but I like that style. When my hair is short its straight until a inch then it starts to curl. I wish I had more tighter curls because I like waves. But my waves are wide not super wide but not tight waves, like I see on my cousins. The styles I like i can't rock like the high top fro ( my hair just curls up and falls) or twists like in the video. Great video!!!! All I see is females no dudes... keep it up!!!

This shit is confusing. I wash my hair maybe twice a week, if I remember. Then I throw some shea moisture & argan oil in it once or twice a week and then just use a water spray bottle, depending on how I feel. Some days I just get up and go & don't use anything😂 I'm low maintenance & hate products. Looks like I have a mix of 3c & 4a I guess. But then certain parts of my hair just wavy or straight, between some of the curls & especially the front under the curls. The sides where most get their tapper, and the back of my hair idk what to call it, but I know that part of the skull is called the occipital, it doesn't curl its just wavy straight-ish hair wtf😂 I took a close up picture of my hair it looks like shiny wires. If you ever saw thin copper wire on a spool. That's what the look reminds me of.
