In this video, I walk you through the steps on how to stop Facebook from announcing your birthday. You can control this through your Facebook Profile and there are settings for both your birth year and your birth date. While I'm using my iPhone in this video the steps also work on Android Phones.

How does one keep the DOB public, but STOP the annoying NOTIFICATIONS going out to Friends for your birthday every year? I used to have settings where the Facebook question specifically asked if you wanted your birthday trumpeted to your Friends once a year.

no only you will know that you made the change it dosnt announce it on live feed or anything
