I've experienced both appreciating myself while not improving myself and self-appreciation that was falling behind on the improvement I was making. I often find it a difficult balance to make between working hard, achieving goals and appreciating it for the correct amount. I think you're making really good points in this video and i like that you're sharing your thoughts about this specific topic :)

Sometimes it feels like God speaks to us by having too many coincidences happen at once. This is the exact conclusion I’ve come to as well. I definitely need more self love to balance the self improvement I’ve made in a fundamental way. Just made a video about this two days ago. Keep up the posting, you’re on a roll!

I have this mindset that everything good that I get is by luck and not by my hard work and I struggle to remind myself that I worked hard for it, I guess my low self-esteem comes from a lack of support from my parents in my childhood, because I remember this low self-esteem from childhood and only in these past few years that I realized the problem, thank you for this video it literally popped out of nowhere for me.❤

I used to say this to other people too, but the only thing that changed this mindset for me was inner work

It’s because when we hate ourselves we look very ugly in the mirror

there is a buddhist saying that my teacher quotes all the time. it goes: "you're perfect the way that you are, and you could use some improvement."
