I treat leaf curl by mixing a cup of apple cider vinegar in 5 litres of water. Works a treat.

You said not to drop the leaf curl effected leaves because it will get into the soil, so wouldn't it effect the compost?

2,000 fruits divided by 6 people is 333 fruits per person over a 42 day period (assuming you mainly get fruits over summer months and they are picked over a 6 week period) means approximately 8 fruits per day per person. Good news is that your not going to go hungry.

Hi Vasili, can't we just mix the copper spray and soapy water to kill 2 birds with 1 stone instead of waiting 7 days? Thanks

QUESTION FOR ANYONE. My Newhaven Peach Tree here in Chicago produced great peaches the last 3 years. It had flowers two weeks ago then we dropped to 22-23 for a few nights. No signs of buds, or peaches. But I see leaf curl starting. Since I'm not getting peaches can I use Copper Fungicide now to prevent the spread? I'm assuming the instructions say February or Fall only because the don't want us to lose a harvest but I already see no harvest this season. Thank You.

What do you do with leaf curl on a plum? It's a different problem isn't it?

I know it’s better to stay away from chemicals, the chemical solution from Bunnings, does it do better job or same outcome as this? Thanks a lot for great info

I have so many questions for you....,,,buckle up: 1. Can I spray my trees after buds have bloomed? I only noticed the problem after they did not bud/leaf out this year No where on the internet could I find the answer and believe me I searched and searched. Everyone talks to spraying before bud/leaf bloom out but what happens when you only notice that they are infected afterwards? This year 9 of my trees look dead/struggling. What are my options? 2. I got a remedy of bluestone/lime off the internet for after the tree blooms will it do any good me spraying them now?or is it to late? 3.Will it affect my other shrubs/perrinnials with overspray (regardless of what time of year I spray)? 4. Finally, I am in Ireland you sound Australian/New Zealander area-ish but regardless trees are trees any chance of posting help for what I thought I would never say 19 years into my gardening but am only noticing now. This year all mature trees got hit and I can't seem to find help.....please help me and others!
