Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. I agree with you, I was in the same boat. I always saw myself as a victim until I changed my perspective and I realized I had to make some changes. When you are in that situation there are only two options, you either stay in that job or you make a change. You need to increase your income and to do that you need to get a second source of income or switch jobs. My wife and I used to deliver food on the weekends to make some extra money and get side hustles. Another way is to invest in your skills. Look at what the market is demanding right now. Data analytics or cyber security per example are booming. You don't need to go to college but take online courses or even KZbin videos. Technology has made a huge difference. So he said. It's not easy. It wasn't easy for my wife or I but we knew it was only for a season and God has blessed us and provided. We went from renting someone's basement to now looking into buying a house. Living frugally can be addicting snd you begin feeling excited about how you can save by cutting out things you really don't need. The problem many people have is they already limit their expenses. They already do everything they can to stop paying for "unnecessary" things. Expenses involved with maintaining a job can be overwhelming. Car insurance or transportation costs, laundry expenses, personal hygiene because your employer has a policy against smelling bad, clothes or uniform expenses. Child care expenses... It can all feel like a losing battle. Then to add insult to injury, you can't even "live off the land" without being accused of trespassing or vagrancy. The obstacles can become a problem that impacts mental health, too. It's easy to pull yourself up from a moment of hardship. It's extremely difficult to overcome long term hardships. For most people, the advice in this video will help with realizing where the money goes and how to change it so your money works for you. For people who are facing serious hardship - this advice feels like being kicked in the teeth.

If you want to stop living from paycheck to paycheck here are three steps you'll need to take: 1. Live below your means, that means you make short term sacrifices 2. Have more than 2 streams of income that provide stable income (ie: have a job and get another gig going on the side) 3. Keep track of every dollar you earn and every dollar you spend. Then audit yourself every 30 days and find out where else you can cut your expenses. You need to operate your financial health like a CFO of a corporation, that's the only way to save. If you wanna go from saving to become wealthy, you'll need to: 1. Invest intelligently and long term 2. Find businesses you can invest in or start your own business - you need to have an idea, something that people need because it solves a business or life problem 3. You need to think long term and always make long term decisions and not be bothered by short term gains or losses. In other words, you need to control emotions and impulsive behavior.
@manoftomorrow59872 ай бұрын
The only difference to me is that you don’t need 2 sources of income. 1 source can be enough if you have the right skills and education…the second “source of income” can be from your partner. Your two incomes combined can help you build together. 2 sources of income for yourself will have you feeling overworked.
@sonofagun002 ай бұрын
@manoftomorrow5987 you need multiple streams of income. That can be in the form of another job, a side hustle, an e-commerce business you've started, etc. Most people can not save money from one job, and if you're talking about 1 source of high paying income, that's not how 99% of the world works nor does everyone have a partner. This is about you, just ordinary young men and women.
@manoftomorrow59872 ай бұрын
@ Im doing it, by keeping my expenses low and I focused on leveraging my career skills and education to jump from one high paying job to another. If my wife doesn’t work I can cover all the bills, save, travel and invest comfortably. I’m not bragging but I figured out what I needed to do which was to up my income and lock in on my career and never a “job”. I’m not working 2 jobs just to cover expenses…I have to focus my extra time on my family and doing things I enjoy. I’m very intentional about my spending and savings habits…I haven’t fallen victim to “lifestyle creep” or “trying to keep up with the joneses”. My colleagues, because we all execs, drive better cars and live in much better houses and apartments than me…but I’m good. All without credit card debit and no debt at the moment because my personal car is paid off, which my wife drives to work, and I drive a company vehicle with is a brand new 2025 model year. Once again, I’m not bragging but I focused on my career. I watch a lot of self improvement and finance related topics and I’m also a CFO…which helps. I have to manage my personal finances and the company as well.

without these ones you cannot live, but agree, these are the big ticket items, but on the side people spend a lot on Shein, Netflix, eating out, Starbucks coffees, etc. It is ok to have one occasionally with your friends, but when it is becoming a daily habit.... that is a whole different thing. This is what many doesnt get... having one is not a sin, enjoy life a little, but not everyday has to be a celebration around spending, find other interests, etc.

Investors should use their money continuously, in my opinion, especially In 2025, the market will start to diversify even further. Given recent stock success, it becomes sense to invest my $460k portfolio in conclusion that the stock market is the best intelligent investment accessible. Certainly, others agree.
@JenniferDavis76305 күн бұрын
I think the smartest way to go is to spread out your investments. By putting your money into different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and stocks, you can lower the risk if one part of the market goes bad.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

I get about 4K a fortnight. After rent and food and basic expenses I keep about $1,700 left for a house fund and kids fund and emergency fund. I support my two kids and partner on one income working full time. I maximise my savings rate and add $500 extra a month to pre tax into my superannuation. No credit card debt and don’t use pay loans.

For regular people there's no secret. Just look at your bank statement of your last three months you will quickly realise the problem is you and all the little things add up. You might think its only 5,10 or 20 dollars here and there but over three months it's astonishing.

He acts like investments don't lose. I'm first generation. Bought rental properties. All ended up underwater in 2008 due to massive bank fraud. I bought stocks, lost money. I have learned more about diversification and will try again, but don't deny insider trading and bank fraud hurts people who try to invest the "right way"

If you want to stop living paycheck to paycheck, start by not caring about what people think of you. Stop spending, work extra jobs, cook your meals, stop going to places you can’t afford. Don’t compare yourself with others.

I’m in the day to day paycheck position myself simply because I don’t earn enough money to live in NYC. It’s not because I spend my my foolishly. I just can’t afford anything but the essentials. I don’t have a car. I can’t afford to wear designer clothing, I can’t afford to go in vacation. I can’t afford to eat out or order etc……. God forbid I miss a days work , I don’t earn money, god forbid I get sick , I don’t earn money. It’s just sucks living like this. This guy does not have the solution or answers for this.
@vzeq24Ай бұрын
He doesn't! The only "solution" is to adjust our "wants". I live comfortably now, but 20 years ago I only had $1000 in my pockets. I was working daily job ( at minimum wage) with a recruiting agency. If I were to start again I would move to a better place and live a minimalistic life.

In terms of practical, look for an S&P 500 fund or ETF. Look for something that tracks that index and has low fees. Vanguard’s VOO, Fidelity’s FXAIX are some examples.

I don't see anything wrong with living paycheck to paycheck. Those who are saying it's bad are those who are not content with their life and greedy. There are countless people who have made a sustainable and very comfortable life through paycheck. Stop spending on useless things. Work on being in control of your money and not being controlled by money. We keep teaching the wrong things.
