Thanks for your question! Mod Podge is the only solution like this we have tried. We’re not sensitive to the smell, so we haven’t tried another. Let us know if you do!

Like in the video, work outside with this or in a garage and use fans to ventilate the area. Using this stuff in a craft room isn't a great idea with the fumes.

@@microtasker That's overkill for mod podge by about ten miles. It's no worse than school glue and they don't ventilate classrooms for that.
