Keep in mind that, Turning the barrel can also cause to rollover. Here's Possible reasons why: - You shift your weight too early, causing you to rollover because in the end you're pushing instead of turning the barrel - You lose the posture: It's pretty much similar as the other point - You're rotating your body and you're not doing enough to keep the bat perpendicular to your forearm during as much time as possible. So here's some drills you can do, if you're turning the barrel like said in this video, yet you're rolling over: - Swing of a soft toss with your Dominant hand only. Make sure the ball is directed on a line from the middle to the right side, check with your coach or during a slow motion vid if your bat is being perpendicular to the forearm of your dominant arm. Then other drills I use are others that involve keeping your weight on the back leg at all time, this way, the barrel turning will work in your favour instead of against you, because the ground forces of your back leg will help it turn back quicker and better.

Great explanation. I’m finding out from instructors who refer to the same thing sometimes with different terms hitting is a tough art to get good at. Expecting it to a 10 year old to get the feel is very difficult. I like your approach most instructors are afraid to be misunderstood about working the Barell back
