Back to the basics is always the key. If you feel like you are out of balance and you are sinking you need to focus on aligning your spine as much as possible. Sometimes this is not easy if you have bad posture or you struggle with mobility in your back and shoulders. But practicing these two basic things could make all the difference. Being close to the surface is the goal the moment we start to drop too far below we create resistance. Think of stretching yourself as long as you possibly can through your torso all the way to your fingertips and your toes. This will help you to feel lighter and longer which will help with alignment and buoyancy.
