@stevenrodan51602 жыл бұрын
It depends on the type of pass needed. Do you need a bullet, quick, on the dot pass? Or a lead pass tear drop? Maybe a slight touch mid range? Id guess a midrange would be fine to have it go sideways. The other two you need this tip
@GDP4452 жыл бұрын
Depends on the play, slant routes would need straight bullets maybe a little bit of a angle with the slant at most but long routes like go routes it honestly doesn't matter as much (as long as the ball isn't tumbling) And honestly as someone who played receiver and tight end you are taught to make quick second adjustments for the ball, no ball is perfect in a game no matter how good it looks from a far. But get the ball by any means, and get it where it needs to be, no excuses.
@johngrimm20742 жыл бұрын
A good receiver would want specific things per specific situations. A great receiver will only want one thing, that the pass is accurate and precise, every single time.

Sideways is easier on the lob passes for receivers to catch and it confuses DBs sometimes because it can look like it coming at a curve. But for short outs slants and anything requiring a bullet pass you want the strong wrist. The key with the sideways spiral is that it’s barely sideways, and not wobbling. That thing will drop the same way instead of dive bombing. Post corner routes or flys is when I’d hit ‘em with the that joint.

A sideways spin as it’s coming down is what I prefer on crossers corners if I’m catching. Then again when I’m throwing most all of my throw power is in my wrist so I have to keep it slung out wide and mine spiral fast and straight, even better when I’m lobbing it up
