Great video! Thanks for this. I was trying to understand this from just a written explanation and it left me totally confused. Your video clears that up right away. Good stuff.

Good tips Ben. No one explained this to me when I started to fly and my early flights were kinda wobbly, but after a few hours things just started to improve and now I don't have to think about it.

Wiltshire Man cheers Sandy, glad you enjoyed mate. Same with driving a car really - your training begins the day you pass your test and you’re out on your own. Aviation is a constant process of learning no matter what level you’re at. I wouldn’t be anywhere near as comfortable in the air without ongoing advice instruction from Simon & Col as well as from speaking to pilots at different levels of experience. Hope you and the other half are well, see you in the air soon.

Controlling the wobble even at a small level massively improves your landings, I see lots of people wobbling on approach and over correcting into a bad landing, great vid Ben :)

Good advice matey, something for a progressing pilot to experiment with, depending on the wing I recommend beginner pilots to just put "hands up" to stop an oscillation untill they are more confident in basic manoeuvres, again that's wing dependent but most a/b wings normally recover on there own just fine.

I find that pulling a gentle turn will also take out the oscillation. Good vid! Big Love!!

I would add, it all depends on your wing. Thermic conditions may need active flying and pressure in the wing is essential so adding break pressure (if the trimmer setting allows). This is covered on SIV courses and is a fantastic learning tool. Keep safe buddy.

Is it not beset to pull the breake a bit when the wing is at the top of the ozlation just before it gose over to the over side
