Hi! Found out about the game a few days ago, and I feel very excited, but also YUGE learning curve ahead. Thank you for the teachings :)

3:20 And How am I suppose to do this when they always run for water or forest which disables my character's ability to run and makes them impossible to catch
@superbearwars23 күн бұрын
Either go for squirrels instead or lead them onto grasslands since they run directly away from your character.

important question! you can find a sit emote in the emotes menu in the bottom-right corner of the screen, or alternatively, right-click on a chair. ;)

Hi, Bob Dole is a noob, can you please teach him the best way to make ten charisma alts for most efficient feasting? Plz and ty. Also, paving is not for aesthetics like you mentioned in your video. Pavement prevents natural biome terraforming.(forest and grass are basically like zerg creep, and will convert things like plowed fields into itself given enough time. That's why you need to pave around your plowed fields. You will want to pave before build a palisade to surround your claim for the same reason. You don't want unwanted creep getting in, because it sucks running around on forest terrain.
@superbearwars2 ай бұрын
This is a great note, I forgot about biome creep!
@Chris-jq8db2 ай бұрын
@@superbearwarsBob reminds you about creep but I have his base in W15 filled with forest terrain because he was too lazy to pave under his houses.

Hi, there is going to be an important exploit on launch that I would like everyone to know about if they already don't. There is a thread on how to do it on the haven and hearth forums in "how do i" Here is the basic rundown. Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable. Enjoy.

Doesn't paved area like lay stone also helps to prevent decay of things?
@snugglesnail1402 ай бұрын
Paving used to slow decay, but nowadays active claims prevent all decay, except for certain objects that need to be inside like looms or cupboards
@superbearwars2 ай бұрын
As Snail mentioned in another comment, nowadays active claims are how you prevent object/building decay, but another commenter reminded me that paved tiles can also help prevent the natural spread of unwanted biome tiles, like forest terrain (which spreads from planted trees). So there is a functional aspect that I forgot to mention!
