Thank you, Jim and Robin. Always enjoy watching a build and hearing the particulars behind it. Especially when they are going to be my new set of clubs. 😊

Combining the Winn grip with the foam inserts, how much vibration dampening occurs compared to using a graphite vs iron shaft? Great videos all year! Merry Christmas!
@McGolf2 күн бұрын
Imo the graphite shaft combo is better but the inserts with Winn grips is a close second

I believe the reason they stopped doing "Sensicore" shafts is because they realized that they attract moisture and rust the inner walls of the shaft causing them to break.

Awesome Jim. This past spring i ordered that vibration kit and installer from Golfworks and had it shipped to 2ndSwing in DE when I had my 2021 T100S irons reshafted to TT Red AMT shafts. Also use WINN dri-tac LITE oversize grips in my irons for both size, comfort and swing weighting since all my irons are 1/2 in short. Also I have thumb tendinitis, so I Use those WINN dri-tac LT oversize grips in my driver and woods Merry Christmas Stephen

I love the jumbomax grips, they’ve held up and last longer than the golf prides and lamkins I’ve used in the past.

Thanks Jim. ’m curious as to how much these inserts affects the swing weight and overall club weight? Merrry Christmas!
@McGolf2 күн бұрын
The inserts come in at 1.25g and are inserted to a point where it is negligible

Nice job Jim. Did you used to do the wooden dowel in to the tip section whilst blueprinting a set too? Or am I going far too far back 😉 @Charles...I have the Wilson Staff CB's now instead of my Cobra Pro MBs. I hope you like them fella 🤞🏼 they're certainly beautiful to look down on 👍

Yes, Kent, they are a beautiful club. How do you like yours? Not expecting more distance out of them, only more accuracy. But Jim did lessen the lofts a little so I wouldn't lose too much. I love my Wilson wedges so I think that these should be just as good or better. Looking forward to them!

@charlesbartholomew2910 I like mine, they're different to the Pro MBs Charles. Different shafts, different grips, different weights... You get my drift, DIFFERENT! 😉

Jim, I forgot to ask...how close were the weights of all the components? Inquiring minds...

I have used an insert in my steel shaft irons for over 20 years. The sensicore work the best for me…the Billy Bob brand is very similar. Also found some called Shaftease that are good. I’ve tried the ProSoft inserts and they did not work as well as the others.

Jim or Robin. I’ve tried calling twice and emailed twice in the last 3-4 months. No reply. I need a quote to have some irons bent. If they can be. Just need to talk to someone. I’m down near Portsmouth. Not far at all. After Christmas though.
