This makes me frightened for my daughters both in their 30s with high prescriptions. I would love it it there was a way to reverse it. If I had known this when their were young I would have done everything to help them. I took them every year for higher prescription glasses and know now it made them worse. I am so upset

I'm 78 & when I was a child in the 1950's, excessively watching television was blamed for children becoming myopic! We were told by our parents to not watch too close to the 'screen"! Today, our children routinely look at computers, I-Pads & other devices, 18" from their eyes, for many hours! It's no wonder that kids are becoming myopic at an alarming rate!

I was myopic at age 6. Glaucoma diagnosed at age 30. Cataract surgery both eyes in late 50s. Retinal detachment at 65 requiring emergency surgery which was successful. With all this I'm legally blind but can still eee enough to function. It sucks. I miss having good vision. My myopia prescription ranged from around -2.5 to -3.5 until I had cataract surgery, now I need glasses to see close instead. I think I prefer it this way but it took a while to get used to it.

Dr I notice that in my right eye I have to bring things closer and my left eye farther away... So is it late to correct or can it be corrected
