Follow these steps. Press the tab and fn keys together and press the power button. Keep the keys pressed until 3 seconds. After that start spamming the f2 key.

loved the vid and just subscribed, but i have one request brother, what are the best tdp settings u used to get the most out of the battery life of this laptop like when doing light tasks like browsing or movie streaming, i am going to buy this laptop verysoon but with i714700hx and 4060, i will use it to take notes in lectures and in cafeteria doing small workloads...please please please make a video on how to get the most battery life out of this machine using other methods and with tdp limit. i saw that your i9 13700hx has same base and max tdp of 55w and 157w as the i7 14700hx..please and i would like it to be tdp limited if i put it in battery and not limited if i put it in charge please if this is possible please do my request

My PL1 limit is 47.500W and PL2 limit is 110W when plugged in. PL1 limit is 35W - 45W and PL2 limit is 45W - 55W when running on battery. However, you don't always need to go into the BIOS to change it, you can do it via Intel XTU

Hey, Can we Unlock Undervolting in Throttlestop by tweaking some settings in the advanced bios settings ?. I have a Predator Helios 17-13700HX , Can u provide some PL settings for this processor if possible?

Although undervolt protection is enabled but undervolting is possible! Check your processor Base Power limit, Maximum Turbo Power limit, and Tau limit for your processor from manufacturer's website! Then go to your PC's advanced bios settings and enter the values ​​under the CPU power management under config TDP Power Limit section. You can follow the same way as I show in this video.

@@asatechnical Thanks for your reply , Is it possible to unlock the ThrottleStop FIVR settings so that i can set a undervolting profile whenever i switch to battery mode and use this for super light-tasks. I want normal performance when it is plugged. I just want to maximize my battery as this variant is lasting for 4 hrs max during super light tasks.

Although overclocking is disabled to prevent overheating, but overclocking features can be enabled through advanced BIOS!

@@asatechnical Yeah I did that. I basically want to make my CPU cooler when power not needed. I have somehow managed the idle state to around 1.2Mhz with 54°C temperature. It goes to 3.6Mhz with 100°C temperature when benchmarking. Still the CPU goes around 90°C in normal tasks. I have done clean Windows install, driver updates, BIOS reset etc. Do you know how can I fix it without changing the TPD?

Now my current PL1 limit is 70W and PL2 limit is 115W and PL2 Tau Limit 28 seconds, during heavy workloads, we are operating our PC within this power range but surprisingly we didn't experience any performance degradation issues.

when the laptop is turned off, before turning it on you should hold press the "Fn" key and "Tab" key at the same time before pressing the power button, then when you have press the power button release both the "Fn" key and "Tab" then open BIOS by pressing the "F2" key as soon as the logo loads

I was able to access the Advance Bios but after setting the PL and saving it. It will not take effect. I checked HWINFO and XTU and chagrs I made on bios for PL didnt work.
