Hi you can try this with cherry tomatoes and give us feedback. Or for regular tomatoes you can simply place a paper towel and keep them upside down. They do last long upto 3 weeks if they are fresh.

I agree with this video but the tape is unnecessary just store your tomatoes upside down Ive tried both ways tape doesn’t help
