Hey all, i have and AUDI A5 2009 s-line 3.0 diesel I dont have this "Bluetooth audio player" option, ionly for calls! Mayeb there is a newer firmware that i can update to or is it just hidden in different settings? If so, maybe someone can send me a link with instructions for dummies,:D Cheers!

Also when i go into spotify it says under the song on my phone, "listening on My iphone" and when i try to choose > listen on other devices. my car is not listed there even if im connected to bluetooth on my car.

Audi didn't enable Bluetooth streaming until 2016. If your car is older it won't work.

I have a knock off tune2air adapter plugged in already but it drops connection randomly at times. It’s a great alternative though. Edit: No matter what code you throw at it you can only use the Bluetooth for phone calls. A5’s don’t have streaming audio as an option until 2013.

@@charliebrown1006 2014 you mean? I have a 2013 Audi A4 2.0 TDI Quattro S-Line Black Edition 188BHP facelift too and it only has bluetooth for phone calls. Anything 2013 or lower is crap. I had a Ford focus once 2011 plate and that had full bluetooth. Audi is behind in a lot of ways. They're supposed to be one of the best cars but in reality they lack alot of stuff and alot of car companys are way ahead of them. Even Ford for that matter. Audi don't care about customers. They only want your money. Rip off cars in my opinion. What a waste of money I paid for this crap. Bluetooth audio is a feature u expect as standard in an expensive car like these. Especially my model spec. Its It's ridiculous! I can't even get the green menu up on mine. The secret green engineering menu. I've tried with obdeleven but it just says no available for my shitty car

@@nuritwitch1095 Pre 2013 Audi A5s dont come with this bluetooth function, you have bluetooth hands free but not Bluetooth A2DP for music streaming. The 3G+MMI systems found in the newer 2013+ Facelift models have this as an optional extra...Hope this clarifies it for you.

Delete all the phones out of the cars memory, and the car off the phone memory, turn your phone off and leave it for a minute, do the same with the car, then try and pair them again using the vehicle to device search

your car may not necessarily have bluetooth audio streaming, it needs to have the Audi Music Interface, the cigarette Lighter will just charge your phone but you should be able to play music by connecting your iphone to the Aux In, or USB sockets
