We have really been struggling with this as our community is diverse and would prefer to watch on different platforms. I'm pretty sure that using restream doesn't take anymore upload speed besides what's directly from your obs studio. Also this plugin seems to reset to default every time you restart obs studio which kinda kills the vibe.

Thank you Michael. I just found your channel recently (new sub,). This video leads to a follow up question. I would be streaming how to streams demonstrating one if not more CGI apps (ie. resource intensive.). I use OBS for screen capture for my YT videos. It seems that even though I have a beefy machine the nature of what else has to be running would make browser based streaming more advantages for my use case. From you experience, am I correct or is it worth testing the OBS plugin. One other factor is I need high resolution so my viewers can read my settings, etc. Thanks!

possibly. Just be aware the plugin is not available for OBS 28, or 29 yet. it is still being updated. the current version works fine with OBS 27.

Hi Michael - I am trying to stream 5-10 streams for my music but currently doing only 2 (which still gives problems)...Everything is ok till my wife & kids come back home & are on the phones, it all drops, buffering no data it says....very weird as i have a 100mb Fibre...and I limited their phones to 2MB download per phone...(3 phones) Unsure what to do...Please help. :)

Hi Micheal - Great video as always. I tried streaming to FB and YT but had problems. I set up OBS and sent out a short reminder 20mins before main stream. -Perfect worked a dream. But when I tried to do the main stream 20 mins later YT failed but FB worked . Do I need new stream keys each time I stream?

It depends how you want to set it up. You can use a different one and if you schedule them you probably should. But you can use the static one if you don’t schedule them.

Great video! I think the only thing you left out is how to pop out or setup a new browser dock for each streams chat. I just tried multi-stream to KZbin (Main) and Twitch @ 1440p/8000 Kbps, and it looks really promising so far.
