I've been gaming for 20 years, doing videos and video chat for 16 years, but have never tried to combine them. Hey! Great question all you would need would be a capture card. Its job is to sit in the middle and capture the video signal and from your Xbox to monitor and send it to your Mac so you can stream it!

Thank you for the very detailed video! I started with OBS Studio but I have about a 10-15 second delay between what I see vs what my viewers see. I tried all the tricks to get rid of delay but could not make it better. I since switched to Twitch Studio for streaming and it has gotten rid of the delay. Any tips on how to get rid of delay in OBS? Thanks again!

I would launch OBS and go to Setting - Advanced. Then find 'Stream Delay' enable it and set it to 1 second. Untick Preserve cutoff point. Then Enable Automatically Reconnect and change the retry delay to 0s. Then go to video set your Base and Output to 1920x1080. FPS set to 30FPS. That should help!

Question...is it best to have a second monitor? I have a second one (I'll have to figure out how to connect it though I know the 2 screen option is part of W10). One for the actual game and one to check the stream. I mean the game streamers in The Sims (yes really) do have 2 monitors so I'm figuring that's a thing :P

Hey man! Are you using an email with a custom domain? For example '[e-mail]' because I've heard of that being a problem. If not and its a standard @gmail or @outlook then I would either try a different web browser or clear your cookies and saved data on your current browser.

Brother thank you for this! I was resisting going down this route (not really sure why) but I kinda have no more options. I work full time (accounting) earn what appears to be good money yet I slowly slip into more and more debt instead of getting ahead and unless anything changes I will go financially bust in a few months (with a FULL TIME JOB FFS).
