Very detailed and precise instructions sir. Thank you. Saves a lot of money comparing to off-the-shelf pre-stretched canvas. Just a quick question : How many time I can reuse the stretcher bars, in your experience? I'm assuming the repeated stapling and removing will cause some damage to the wood..

You are correct. But at the same time each staple leaves very little marks. I am using some bars since so many years without any problem. But you should always use a new one when giving painting to your clients.

UPDATE : I managed to find the staple gun, but no remover tool was available... However I successfully managed to stretch an 18x24! The 'bang' sounded so satisfying... Canvas stretch plier wasn't available either. But a normal plier from the toolbox did the trick! This was a valuable lesson to learn.. and was a great experience doing it! I recommend anyone who watches this to give it a try..it saves a lot of money and it's really rewarding. Thanks again sir.
