Thank you for the demo of these three balls, but, you never taught us how to strike with urethane. You just threw a few shots to show off the balls various strengths and that was all. Help us learn how to strike with urethane. For low rev low ball speed players, normal league bowlers on house shots, players on sport shots, etc. What layouts are best for urethane? How should a normal league bowler use it on a house shot? Where should they throw it on the lane? What kind of launch angles do they want? How much surface do they want on their urethane ball for house shots? How does urethane change the lane oil vs. resin? How does the shot break down or change with urethane vs. resin? Etc?

this is perfect. I will make a part two. to be honest I wasn't really sure where to go with this idea. plus some camera issues forced me to cut it short. in the next video i will be answering all of those questions.

Agree with Nordattack. Maybe showing a full game with each ball and what to do when carrydown starts affecting your ball motion. Also, how to use Urethane on short sport patterns and how to adjust with that transition.

It's not "carry down" that affects the ball roll. It's the early burn up that causes your ball to roll super early. Throw a pearl against someone using urethane so you can get through the fronts and have energy in the back 🤷🏾♂️

@@egibs3565 What if I am lofting through the fronts and the ball still doesn’t read properly due to more oil on the back of the pattern then its a carry down issue right? I’m talking Urethane to Urethane, not using resin.
@egibs35653 жыл бұрын
@@danielschank the black widow urethane allows you to move left. It has an asymmetrical core. It's still probably be easier to throw a pearl 🤷🏾♂️ What you're seeing happen at the end of the pattern is an effect of the beginning, urethanes are meant to hook early. There's not a lot of left to right hook from urethane balls
@danielschank3 жыл бұрын
@@egibs3565 Not just talking about the black widow. Just asking him in general because after 5 to 6 frames or when the entire field is throwing urethane you can’t just jump into a pearl on a short pattern.

@@danielschank I have with success. I was able to move left of everyone and use the hold that they created for me. And usually during practice you know who's going to stay in urethane and who is not. There was a recent PBA event where Darren Tang was using urethane and everyone else just moved left and used the hold he created for them. I'm sure he'll be able to provide more insight though. I'm looking forward to his response 👍🏾

I got excited when I heard you were going to talk about different ball rolls and how to use urethan correctly to strike. That wasn’t really covered at all in this video. Perhaps part 2 you will be covering that?
@michaelcoffey3 жыл бұрын
part two will definitely be coming out. I wasn't able to get into detail cause of some camera issues but part two will cover alot more.

@@michaelcoffey awesome! I definitely get how difficult creating content can be. Once you have an appreciation for the editing process and how much effort it requires, you know it’s not just turn the camera on and shoot lol congrats on the recent success in regionals.
