I feel this is where you shine Mark! Nobody on yt explains the golf swing better.

There you go, so many different ways to explain and show one single thing. Now, that is a skill very very few people have. That's my range session sorted for the next couple of weeks, at least. Thank you!

Great video! You teach the swing piece by piece better than anyone. It’s going to take me awhile.

You liking the Srixon irons, Mark? Just got fit for a combo set of Z Forged IIs, ZX7s and ZX5s. Very excited for them to arrive

Excellent video, Mark. But I do miss some footspray on the face for us not having a Quad. Hard to practice low point without a divot board inside. A Trackman session will also be good for this measuring strike and low point.
@pauldunn5712 Жыл бұрын
This practice is so important. All that ACTUALLY matters is ball strike and face control. How you get there is less relevant. Foot spray on clubface also good to see your strike. Familiar with Adam Young Golf @Mark?

Good tips Mark. Ive seen your closed face drill a while back and tried it with chipping to fix my yips as for some reason this made my arms more passive and comfortable. Would you recommend it for short game? (Obviously im not trying to square the club face with a heap of shaft lean in the short game)

The thing I struggle with Mark is taking a drill ( I use the closed face and getting hands forward drill) strike is fantastic, but then struggle trying it with a square club face ? Would you game a closed club face drill in your round ? Brilliant as always Mark 👍🏻

I wouldn’t no. You need to learn to recreate the feeling
@jusbringit Жыл бұрын
im in a similar situation. my shots are always fat. however when i implement the drill with a very closed clubface my divot is after the ball most of the time. so to swing with a square clubface i have to recreate the feeling i have to slowly reduce the closed clubface and retain the feeling till i get it? @@MarkCrossfield

I thought that divot board was a bit gimmicky at first to be honest, now seeing it used in a dynamic way it certainly looks beneficial. Now to get my practice shots off the range and onto the course, if you figure that one out you will be filthy rich! 😂😂😂

with the ball this high on a matt I would have to grip down to get a valid picture - or place the matt in the ground so it matches foot level. I guess 99% of golf shots on those course I play is level ground
@MarkCrossfield Жыл бұрын
Drop the mat works. Also you do NOT play on flat lies on the course. If you practice from the mat above your feet and you believe that would effect your practice in a negative way then the same would be said about hitting from an always flat lie?
@pederjensen7288 Жыл бұрын
@@MarkCrossfield As said - On the courses i Play the 99% is flat lie - so why should I then practice on a mat where the ball is above my feet. I practise flat lie, because I play on flat lies golf course
