One loop is sufficient for all strings. After almost thirty years of doing it with two or more loops, my bridges on my classical guitars started to bow. Luthiers design, make and play the guitar with one loop on the bridge end so thats the way ive been restringing for the last two years.

Restringing my first guitar that requires nylon opposed to my regular acoustic guitar. Really glad I learned I learned how to resting my regular acoustic with with the beads first, because it's pretty intuitive, with the caveat of needing to know how to tie a double loop. Thank you for the lesson!

@@ravens852 "acoustic" means that the amplification of the sound happens due to the instrument itself, like these classical guitars and the hole that makes the sound reverberate from inside out, instead of using electrical amplification. This one uses nylon strings, and maybe yours uses steel/nickel strings, which are way easier to string, but both have hollow bodies, hence both are acoustic.

Does it matter if wind the steing over itself? Or if the steing is wind towards the center of the guitar vs outward?

Both E strings should be wound towards the inside. Every other string is wound going towards the outside. This avoid any strings overlapping eachother in the tuners. Try to avoid overlapping your windings as if they slip you’re going to immediately lose string tension and have to retune. An easy way to make sure that doesn’t happen is to get a fingernail or a pick between the strings as you create each wind them to keep them orderly.

You CAN purchase classical strings with ball-ends if you prefer (just like your steel strings, the ball-end goes to the bridge). Shown here is the traditional type without ball-ends. 😊

Why does the E, A, D low strings in a classical guitar string looks like a metal? Or is there something i dont know? Can someone clarify that part for me thanks

Pretty sure it’s nylon core with metal sheathing. No clue how it holds together but sounds amazing

They are metal, its only the bottom three that are mylon

There’s nylon inside. I just restringed mine and had to cut off some extra string at the end and it has a soft core. Also, the difference in tension between a classical and an acoustic is insane, they’re very soft and warm feeling compared to acoustics
