what do you think about Pro's pro stringing machines?

I believe the longer it takes the clamp the string after you have cranked it the more tension it actually loses up to a certain point of course. I have actually tested this with a scale that measures pounds and found that you can lose between 8 and 10 lb if you don't clamp in about 10 seconds. What is the purpose of this method? Thank you

To have the crosses to start from the top when doing one piece stringing. Otherwise with this racket if he didn't do it like that he would end up doing crosses going throat to head. I hope you don't string from bottom to top for tennis racket? Head and yonex void the warranty if you go bottom to top. One piece vs two save strings if you're doing it from a reel.

@@lungchan1729 I don't think you've address my question about the great amount of tension lost by not clamping the strings quickly. I also think that you forgot to mention Prince racquets also void the warranty

Hey Fiji, I like the track that you are headed however I don’t think I would be able to talk more about this subject by simply typing. Feel free to reach out on my email Racquetologymrt@gmail.com

Why it has the Nolan name? I thought it was just ukrsa atw? Is it because it's name after the inventor?

Hello Lung, I used the Nolan name since he invented the pattern but to be honest I should probably put the UKRSA in brackets for the title. Thanks!

@@racquetology Hi all, an excellent video and also an excellent presentation. Back when head stringer at Wimbledon, I began to experiment with many ATW patterns. They were all flawed in some way, mostly in not getting the same dynamic tension on both sides of the stringbed. It took me a long time but eventually I came up with a simple version that all stringers could easily learn and which avoided a left/right feel when playing. It avoids the common "Box Pattern" that many ATW patterns use and has an increasingly harding down to the throat, lethal on gut or multi's and all different tensions. I also made sure that the stringer could "get out of jail" if he measured the string unevenly or started on the wrong side - think of Prince O3 and recessed string grooves. I started up the UKRSA 21 years ago, my tutors teach this ATW/RTW pattern on the courses and so its known as the UKRSA RTW pattern. The important bit is the pattern, the name Liam Nolan is not. So I am happy for UKRSA ATW pattern and thank you for making the video. Liam Nolan Founder & Technical Director www.ukrsa.com

My username is what I use for my metal detecting! I must change it today. The Ektelon machine being used is a brilliant choice for all sorts of stringing work. I started on an old Ektelon H and the build quality was superb. Particularly fast for badminton stringing but also for most tennis rackets. For fan patterns and some squash rackets, there are adaptors that can be quickly fitted. I must have owned around 8 over the years, kept selling them to course members who wanted something they had used successfully, Liam

Wow its an honor to have a stringing legend watch my video and enjoy it! Thank you for explaining why it was invented and the perspective for it. I am a stringing nerd and love to learn more, honestly I had lost some steam about producing some of these videos but comments like yours really show me I need to continue making helpful videos for the stringing communities out there. If you are ok with it I would love to have the ability to ask you some questions. My email is Racquetologymrt@gmail.com can you send me a message that way I have the email for contact?
