I too started memorize 1 ayat a day constantly since 60 days and it works very well, my suggestion is to memorize immediately after fajar prayer. Have consistency , dedication and love for the holy book, don't miss the 5 prayers, and go for the word to word translation simultaneously. 1 hr in mng, and 10 min twice a day in between, 15 min before sleeping. recalling and repeating in salat the same memorized ayat daily.

i was not able to remember the last line i read in my mother language,i ever thought i can never memories anything, but i started memorizing and finished my Surah Mulk,Surah Yasin and now Surah KAhf is going,,,,,i am amazed for this blessing how i became so special that way....AlhamdoLillah,,,,,I pray to ALLAH let me complete this memorization and let all brother and sisters to do this.....

@@rawazkader5824 Alhamdulillah I finished before Ramadan brother..I am a sister..I took only two juz per year...and also concentrated in learning Arabic grammar in between..which helped me immensely in memorizing the meaning and hifdh..I had classes in the masjid for hifdh and a revision based hifdh..so focus is strongly on revision ..I had other issues like health which slowed me down..but Alhamdulillah never gave up..Rahma of Allah..

Memorization is with understanding what u are reading.. i fear of the people who recite but never goes down there throats what they are reciting.... fear Allah.. kind reminder to myself and to all of us.. we are so blinded in completing and getting a name or a title of a hafiz without even knowing what we are reciting... am not pointing to anyone any finger but am sharing this just to share what i know.. wallaah aulam.. one verse with understanding of Arabic is better and ever lasting as if u will be like speaking the language of quran.. how big of a blessing it is if only we knew..

Yes but the important point to remember is, just because we don't understand the quran shouldn't act as a barrier in our recitation. Recite daily. And understanding is a bonus!

Ma sha Allah, this sheikh is one of the best people I have ever met. If you ever come to Malaysia you just have to attend his lectures. He has given his personal number to 100s or even 1000s of people and will answer any questions on Whatsapp. It might not be obvious from this video but this sheikh is also very knowledgeable, he has a bachelors in Sharia from Medina and masters and PHD from IIUM. Take his advice very seriously.

I have started memorizing 1 aayah per day by will or by force. I have made my previous ustaza to watch over me and demand the lesson daily.. this is helping me a lot.. alhumdulillah.. i memorize one aayat after fazr and send it's lesson to my ustaza before sleeping Previously i used to do 2-3 aayah in one day and was not able to recall those aayah during day and also i was not consistent for daily practice.. thus all those used to be vanished.. and have to restart again... That was created so much pressure on me.. almost got dipressed, physical health also went unwell.. shaytan was whispering to me to quit the hifz... But alhumdulillah allah helped me and show me a way which is beautifully working for me.

Did anyone sew how Al fatiha is sooo simple.....it is not that Al fatiha is easiest surah in the Quran, it's because of the repetition we do and always read it in salah 17times In every Rakaah .. I would advice that we Repeatedly read whatever portions we want to memorize,learn its meaning, listen to same sheikh and Allah will make it easy for us ❤May Allah make Quran our lifestyle and our law and make us people Of Quran .may Allah grant us Jannatul Firdaws ❤

Slms brother i finished the quran very fast alhamdullillah but i came to the realisation that dor is everything rather than sabak. My dor is quite weak and so i am polishing it up juz by juz through the will of allah. My question is i came across a video called quran kids and these kids knew their dor so well that if they got asked any ayah they would know the place and juz it was in. I want to know how i could also achieve this . Praying it over and over doesnt seem to help with being given an ayah and knowing where exactly it is. Are there any such techniques or something which can allow me to know the location of the ayah. By the way im not an arabic speaking person so could it be that the meaning assists them with this. to achieve that you must not only memorize but also learn tajweed and tafsir. i realised that the indian pakistani method of memorization (even in madrassa places like south africa, zambia, zimbabwe etc ) doesnt really help effectively in recalling ayats unless a surah is read from beginning to end and also consecutive surahs. if asked to recite surahs from different juz we get confused so easily. to solve that first you need a good teacher who himself is not part of this problem. secondly the 13line Quran used in indian madrassa arent really effective for memorization. better to use the 15 line and have one copy only for memorization. the 13line is good for beginners in learning how to recite and it really helped in my childhood but now i have shifted to using the 15line,it has also helped me understand tajweed rules much better. another tip is when doing dor(muraja'a) have weekly tests from your teacher. He tests by asking u to start from different parts of the surah sometimes even the last ayah and u have to know what surah comes next or random surahs from different juz or hizb u have memorized . dont just do dor from beginning of surah to end. sometimes do it page wise or hizb. most important is the weekly tests. this method helped me move away from the traditional indian method taught in madrassa and now Alhamdulillah am able to know an ayah before and after if asked and also what surah its from.

Yes, at the beginning he also explains a story of the brother who didn't memorise anything because he didn't want to memorise 1 ayah a day. 1 ayah a day, if consistent, you can memorise more than 1 juz/year InshaAllah.

assalama aleykum bro/sisters Here is my Understanding what the sheilkh is saying 1- Take you lesson may be 1 page or 1/2 page or less Today after Fajar prayer then memorize all day read and read all day and recite with in that day and Revise or recite before you sleep with out looking then sleep. the Next morning after Fajar prayer recite in front of the Teacher before you take NEW lesson then take New lesson do it same all day and again same Remember best way you keep is Read each AYAH 200 times and each Page of Quran 200 times you will NEVER forget insta allah it's Quraan and Need lots of time
