Still can't believe Toby Keith is gone. I turn his music up a little louder now when it comes on the radio. I think he was saying bye to all of us when he sang this at the 2023 People's Choice Country Awards. You picked a good song to teach and do a great job. Thank you for sharing!

@Relaxandlearnguitar thanks, I know, I just like watching the instruction videos you post for non members. It shows the difference, what a good membership teaches up and above the non member videos. Some of them I pick up things I missed or didn't notice before.

Maggie May....ha...great name! I worked for Rod Stewart in the 90's. Great tour as I am sure Maggie May would agree.

Beginner here to. But I need him to play his songs all the way through after the lessons. Play alongs are easier for me to grasp and follow

I'm commenting on this video because it's one you just released which gives me a higher chance of getting a respones. Anyway do you have any advice on what the best three open chords for a love song? On acoustic guitar.
@Relaxandlearnguitar6 ай бұрын
Hmmm. G C and D. If it’s a sad song throw in an Em

What model guitar is that Martin? Thanks

It’s a D1-R. My favorite guitar by far. You can find them used. I bought this one in 99.

@@Relaxandlearnguitar thanks. Sounds nice. Looking to get my first Martin so a used one may be good option

I am confused some play the into with the pattern 6432, but you play 5432. What's up with that, just wondering, good lesson however.
@partner2303 ай бұрын
Love your lessons. But it would be waaaay better if you play the whole song through at the end for us to follow you. Play alongs work much faster for watching and learning. Instead I had to write it all down and then go to the actual video of the song to practice it. .come back and check you out again. It's a lot of jumping back and forth for this song, see my point. I am a beginner but can play lots of songs if i can follow along. Not just a couple of words...sorry if that sounds bad, It's not meant to. Thanks for all you do to teach tho
@Relaxandlearnguitar3 ай бұрын
No problem. Noted. Sometimes depending on the song it can be a challenge to post an entire play through without copyright issues.
