Here’s how I got a 5 on the APWH exam without studying much: I studied 1-2 major events per period (based on how long the period was) and then common sensed my way through the rest.

Honestly, from taking a mock exam, most of the test is just reading and interpreting stuff and using slight background knowledge to help you find answers. The only portion you need to actually apply your knowledge is on the FRQ stuff.

@@araaa4682 it’s really not that bad; Physics 1 is algebra based, and you get a reference sheet of most of the formulas. For anyone taking it- just focus on knowing the conceptual things as well as derivations and how to do frqs because the math will come naturally. Ap world: hopefully I/we can bs my/our way through it and college board will do its magic. ✨Those two in the same year isn’t as bad as I had expected in the beginning of the year. Workload may depend on teacher, but one thing for sure in physics: if you have labs, don’t copy the procedure. Try to come up with your own so that you can get a better grasp on the process of how you personally would solve things. Good luck and have fun!

@@katherineliu5997 if you have trouble learning concepts, look at AP daily videos. If your registered to your teacher on collegeboard, I think you can access those. They go through all the topics, and give a good basis for beginning. Crash course has a good course on chemistry. While this doesn't go in depth, the videos are around 10 minutes and contain a lot of info that helps get it to make sense in your brain. Also, when in doubt, Khan academy.

Looking back, I kinda miss the 2020 exams now. Sure they were pretty hectic, but they were less than an hour long. I took AP Lang and APUSH last year and only had to do one essay for each. I ended up with a 5 and a 4. And for Spanish all I had to do was record some simple responses, and got a 4. Didn't have to worry about any multiple choice. My teachers actually prepared me for the exam though, so that was also helpful. This year, it's another story. The AP teachers I had this year got pretty damn lazy. My AP Lit teacher was actually helpful for the most part, and we practiced some essays and MCQs. Although we haven't practiced the essays in like 2 months. But the class just feels harder. My APES teacher kinda fell behind schedule and is still finishing up like the last two units. She's going over some MCQs and FRQs, but I don't feel as confident as I'd like to be. And for AP US Gov, my teacher was absolutely useless. All he did was show news clips in class. Didn't go over any lessons in class. All he did was assign some simple fill in the blank questions from our book. Barely even practiced the MCQs and didn't even practice the FRQs or the essay. I pretty much have to self study now thanks to him. I'm trying my best to be optimistic about my exams this year, but I definitely don't feel as confident as I did last year. Hopefully the exams aren't as bad as I think they'll be.
