This has been the most helpful piece of advice on the net. I am doing my masters in Oncology and my tutors/supervisors have not been very helpful. The comment below where someone has mentioned depending on the lecturer that marks the question, you should tailor your answers to their style is so, very true! Nonetheless, this is a very good generalised template to help answer essay-style questions. Thank you a bunch Atousa!

Fantastic exam tips! In my uni, the lecturers (module leaders) are the one making the exams for their students (not sure about other unis). From my experience I found that different lecturers have different style of marking essays which indicates that you might want to tweak your essay answers a bit depending on who is going to mark it. Some lecturers may only need you to describe a (or more than 1) biological pathway/process whilst others might want to see some arguments for and against. Hence asking your lecturer some tips on how to answer essay questions THE WAY THEY WANT IT might get you the best marks! Also, the classic way of creating an essay model and recalling them on a piece of paper can do wonders (at least for me haha).
