I use the Soap method. To keep it simple when I study multiple chapters I do the application part after each chapter. Combine what I learned from the study in prayer after reading all the chapters. The scripture part and observation I do it as I read

Thank you for sharing your strategy on how to contemplatively study the bible & apply it in your life. I can see that all those are needed/ required for living a full & content life in a way that... not only pleases God but is the best way for us also. Even though it doesn't seem like it at times. However I found it easier to understand Gods reasoning after I had children. When you have to apply rules or punishment that you don't want to but because you love your children you do it, knowing that... immediately or in the long run it is & will be for their wellbeing/ better good. That made it easier to yield & apply things I previously ( B4 children) had been defiant and resistant to. I will use your method of study because I know from experience having ADHD that writing what I'm trying to absorb works. It takes longer than just reading it ..but ... The whole point is understanding it sooo. 🤷✅🙏❤️

I've been using this method since last year. I ran across this method on Tik Tok. I didn't know how to take Bible Study notes, or have Bible Study at all and I really wanted to know how/learn.
