Such a great video!!! I love discussing the history and evolution of fashion. I remember being in 6 th grade in 1982 and doing a history presentation on the history of fashion starting with the ancient Greeks all the way up to the 80’s. It’s so interesting how politics, Function and society change fashion. Fashion is a real intellectual subject that people don’t realize.

I remember how popular crop tops were in the 90s. Our HR department had to issue a dress code policy prohibiting midriff tops. I also remember the clunky black Maryjane shoes with the stacked heels.

We’re the same age and the movie dream wardrobe of the 90s for me was the one where gwyneth Paltrow’s husband, michael Douglas, was trying to kill her. Her wardrobe was so chic and elegant and loved that apartment too! You look so youthful with the 90s makeup!

My favorite jeans as a young teen were pleated and I even remember the brand Zena 😂I’ve got to get another pair of pleated jeans these are so cute! Love the black slip skirt and white tee! We are about the same age and the 90's was the first time I felt like fashion and I meshed really well. The 80's were AWFUL for me and I thought it was me. Early 90s I was in art school and went full grunge! Lol It was nice change from the 80s because there was less makeup and I could wear my hair naturally straight which meant no more 6 hour perms! Lol
