I just call the top a striped tee shirt. Is there a difference between Breton top and a striped top? I have all things that I could copy from your video and they look great on you so I’ll try when it gets cooler here.

Which sezane stripped top would you recommend? Recommend mostly for summer/spring or fall/winter? I’m so torn between sezane’s Paxton tee shirt, the Colette & the Leontine button sweater!! For a timeline capsule piece?

Hi Jen, thanks so much for getting in touch. And that is a hard question as I love them all! I'm sat wearing the Leontine now funnily enough! I think it depends on where you live, what your climates like etc. With the Leontine for example I find I reach for that year round whereas the Paxton is a great shape but probably only best for Spring Summer. I do wear the Colette so much too but in Winter it's not quite warm enough alone so I tend to layer a cardigan over the top. From a fabric point of view they're all very similar having been made from cotton and they all wash brilliantly too. I'm trying to help and I fear I may have confused you more haha, sorry! But all three are hugely wearable it just depends how warm it gets where you are:) x

I have tons of striped tops. Some are wider stripes but they are definitely navy inspired. I think one could wear a polo neck or a button down underneath it. I have a red button down. I'd like to have this Sezane top. They have have a new release that is full of full on saturated colors like blue and green. I just wish they were not as expensive.

Hi Denisa, sounds like a girl after my own heart on the stripe front!! If Sezane is a little out of budget there's a great website called Vestiare Collective that essentially sells second hand pieces. But they tend to feature some really nice brands, high end designers and then some of the higher end of the high street too. I've seen quite a lot of Sezane on there and it pretty much works out half price. Definitely worth a peek:) x

Hi Julianne, I'm so glad you liked the video:) They're just so wearable aren't they, I don't ever mind investing in another breton as I know it'll get a lot of wear! Re my skincare, funnily enough I've filmed a new video on that which will be out in a couple of weeks:) But yes, I'm still using the Dior products. I've found they've made such a difference to the overall appearance of my skin. I was looking a bit grey and flat if that makes sense? But they've given me more of a glow. Thanks so much for watching:) I went for the blue & white in a small (I'm usually a UK10) which I'd say is a perfect fit and then i bought the red & white version in a medium so I can have a more relaxed fit too. I personally prefer the relaxed fit but I think that's just personal taste as they're true to size. I hope that helps x

However I would say the majority of these outfits would work whatever type of breton top you have. So black and white stripes, red and white or I did spot the one I have in a lovely camel and white which as you can imagine I love! I would say find one you love and you'll find that it integrates into so many more outfit ideas than you could imagine x

That white Sezane trousers is TDF!!! Been a big Breton top fan in my 20's and my Saint James ones were a staple in my closet...until my late 30's when I felt like I don't gravitate towards them anymore (I have since passed them on to my 9-year-old daughter). I have a collection of tops from St. James made here in Normandy and wear them constantly. Remember to wash them in water no hotter than 30 C or they will shrink.They also come in wool, which is lovely and cozy for winter. The dark blazer, black cigarette pants and heels is amazing, especially with your hair half tied back. I also love your outfit with the pink Sezane jacket. lovely although right now I'd pair it with boots as it's freezing cold here! The pairing with the camel coat and roomy trousers is very Lauren Hutton-ish. And I do love the Loden green Cadet-style jacket with it. I brought a red and white striped Breton with me on a European dance tour years ago and spontaneously paired it with an ankle length red and Tuscan gold floral skirt. I ended up loving that look, even layered with a cropped distressed denim vest. Also love a Breton beneath a partially unbuttoned Black Stewart tartan shirt, tied in a knot at the waist. Perhaps with an ankle length pencil skirt.

Breton stripes are truly my obsession...I think striped pieces are almost half my wardrobe 😆. I love how you styled them so many different ways. Really love the dinner date look and the pop of red option is honestly very me. Love all the options you gave us. Hope you have a great week ❤️

Hello Jess. All those looks you put together are great. I just replace those browns with black, navy or grey to suit my complexion. The tan bag is perfect with the white trousers and striped top. The little head band is very Brigitte Bardot!
