Very helpful! I love shoes and have a lot of cute pairs, but I can get overwhelmed and confused trying to pair them with things. I am especially confused by mules. I bought a super cute pair in the summer, but never wore them because I found it so hard to style them.

I think mules look great with skinny jeans. Go for an ankle length but it's ok to fold up your skinnies if regular length. I'd recommend a thin cuff, don't fold the cuff to wide. I picked up a blush colored pair of mules. My go to outfit was a simple v-neck white tee and a light grey cardigan. Since my tops were neutrals I'd match my accessories with my mules. I'd either wear a watch with blush colored leather straps or a pair of aviator shades that have a light pinkish and brown gradient tint. Mules can also pair well with wide leg pants or dresses. If your mules are a neutral color like brown, taupe, grey, black ... they'd match with literally so many tops and patterns. If your mules have a pop of color like mine then that would be your statement piece and stick to neutral shades for your outfit until you're ready to experiment and venture out of your comfort zone. Oh yes!!! You gotta break them in but once you do they are amazing!! I have some loafers that I always wear that had to be broken in too!
